As A Child I Made Things...

As a child I spent a lot of time making! Salvaging off cuts of wood from my engineering, ex-RAF Dad's workshop; gleaning fabric oddments from my Scottish 'teacher' Gran whenever she came down to visit - which was quite often; learning how to sew by an elderly neighbour of the little Lincolnshire village I grew up in! This sense of thrift and recycle was bread in to me. I was happy in my creating, content and inventive.

I still make today! I am still a child at heart! I enjoy creating with my hands.
